TokyoMilk

Well hello loves!
I've considering starting a blog for about a year now... I honestly couldn't tell you all of the blogs I've read along the way.

I’m sure you all will get to know me along the way but first off I currently work for a staffing agency in Georgia. Married 10.10.10 ;) do not have any kiddos yet but have a gorgeous German Shepherd mix and a tiny Pomeranian.

First of all, I plan on mostly reviewing nail polish since I have a slight obsession with it BUT... this first one will be this wonderful  lip balm that I saw reviewed by Scrangie (check it out here).

First up is the lip balms – TokyoMilk Dark's Femme Fatale Collection Lip Elixirs
I purchased “Smoked Salt”, “Absinthe”, “Coco Noir”, and “Cherry Bourbon”.
I’m usually prone to headaches with too much perfume or even if I have my hair up or even in a braid for too long but these didn’t give me headaches. I have Cherry Bourbon sitting on my desk at work and love this stuff! Absinthe I took on a trip to Texas with me and I love love this stuff!

They come cutely packaged with plastic around them and a little band. I didn't want to completely take off the band so I just took scissors so I would be able to open them.
They do also have a barcode sticker on the back that I took off. They do mention the names on the back of the tin as well but I just loved the bands so much ;) The Tokyo-Milk website mentions “Not for the faint of heart: An unexpected mixture of fragrance & flavor. A remarkable lip elixir for a remarkably uncommon experience”
Coco Noir has the purple band and has a cute little top hat and the number 60 which I’m not quite sure what that means but I think it’s part of the line. Flavor Notes: Dark Rum, Maraschino Cherry, Sweet Milk, Cacao Bean
Smoked Salt is grey with a gun and the number 22. Flavor Notes: Smoked Sea Salt, Burnt Sugar, Molasses, Vanilla Bean
Cherry Bourbon is red with cherries and the number 77. Flavor Notes: Cherry Brandy, Whiskey, Aged Wood, Clove
And as much as I dislike spiders, that’s on Absinthe which is a lighter green and the number 84. Flavor Notes: Anise, Mineral Salt, Citrus Peel, Crushed Herbs
They are all clear balm and have such a different smell. They’re all very different as well.  All of these are fairly large too at .70 ounces which I’m unsure if I will ever fully use these!
