Julep Ellen

I can’t say enough great things about this polish. Julep picked the perfect shade of red with Ellen. She went on flawlessly and perfectly! No bald spots, slight VNL but almost could have been a 1-coater!

Let’s just bask in how gorgeous this is! I may add some dotting or sparkle to it but I’m in love. This may be my go to color going forward – as long as she doesn’t stain.
I’m definitely prone to staining and I try to steer away reds or deep pinks often. On to more pictures! :)

Julep June Mystery Box #2

When I returned from my vacation I really couldn’t wait to open up my second June Mystery Box from Julep. I was a little upset over my first box & hubby somewhat urged me to get a second box. You know you married the perfect guy when he encourages you to get nail polish! ;)

Here we go:
I received The Best Pedi Prep EVER! Which I haven’t had a moment to try out yet. Along with this is their massive foot file. I think my husband may get more use out of these since he has more rough feet than I do.
I received another julep file which is really nice. One side is more gritty than the other. I love big files like this!

I also received a new Therapy Base Coat which I’m super excited about – I purchased one a few weeks ago but can’t use this enough! It’s such a great base coat & I feel like my manicure stays on longer without chipping which I definitely need. I’m lucky if I get longer than a day & a half without chipping.

I also received Amy which I got to take a look at when I saw my sister on vacation. It’s a very pretty lighter blue. And I LOVE Ellen! It’s a stunning tomato red but seriously the perfect shade of red.

I’m currently wearing Ellen on my nails so next post will be that gorgeous swatch :)
I’m MUCH happier with my second box than my first. I LOVE the Argan oil out of my first box but was dying to get more of the Therapy Base Coat.

Julep Heart Stamp Mani

I only took a few pictures of this manicure. I did wear it a full day though. I wanted to experiment with more of my Julep colors – especially stamping with them!

I started off with a full coat of white polish to really make the colors pop. I used Daisy on my middle & ring fingers and Courteney to my pointer and pinky fingers. Of course that wasn’t enough for me to I added stamping with Mandy. I believe this is a Bundle Monster stamp but I can dig it out and search for the number if anyone is really interested.  On to the pictures!!! :)

Zoya Savita

I’m extremely sad that Zoya does not carry this gorgeous color anymore! It’s such a gorgeous purple matte with sparkle! Enjoy Savita spam ;)

I also added more sparkle with INM Northern Lights

Then I decided that that wasn’t enough! Added OPI’s Planks a Lot & Zoya’s Sarah which is a stunning red sparkle! Then to seal it all I added another Northern Lights coat ;)

Julep June Mystery Box #1

So Julep likes to do something they like to call Mystery Boxes. I first received a Cinco de Mayo box in May and was quite happy with it. This time I received their July Mystery Box. Let’s just say I bought two since I wasn’t too happy with my first box. Here’s what was in my first box.
Isn’t it packaged so adorably??

First I received their Age Defying Hand Brightener and Glycolic Hand Scrub in 1 fl oz tubes. I’ve used the hand scrub before and am a big fan. The Hand Brightener is a lotion with a slight shimmer which I liked. Really like the clean smell to it too!

Next up is Brooke and Megan. Brooke is a gorgeous sheer purple sparkle. Megan is what I would call a mermaid green. I received Brooke with my introductory box so luckily I have a sister who LOVES nail polish like I do and... her name is Brook! How fitting!

I also received the Argan oil which states it’s for hair, nails, & skin. I’ve used this quite a bit already on my hair and I absolutely love it!

I have one more mystery box to show you all but bear with me, I was on vacation all last week so I'm downloading them all :)
Enjoy!!
